Our Story

Willow Creek Falls began as a private piece of land owned by an individual family. In 2007, the family chose to host their only daughters wedding there. The daughter fell in love with wedding planning and the property as she planned her own. A couple of years later, the family decided to turn the property into a wedding venue. For 5 years, Willow Creek Falls was Blue Ridge’s premier wedding destination. It was unique because it was so close to downtown Blue Ridge, yet the grounds were exquisite. The family hosted weddings, charity events, fund raisers, banquets, and much more. The property expanded as the business grew. With the growth, came the creation of lodging on site. It was perfect for the family and wedding party to remain on site for the entire weekend. Willow Creek Falls hosted the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, and wedding reception. As time passed they began to get inquires about staying in the lodging from guests who were not affiliated with a wedding party. As the number of guests grew, who wanted to stay, the family felt like they were not able to share these beautiful grounds with as many people as they would like while hosting the events.

After 5 years of events, the family decided to shut down the event side and focus on the lodging side. Willow Creek Falls Lodge has become a favorite to guests from all over the United States. With the freedom to walk the grounds and enjoy the scenery while being so conveniently close to town. Several of the couples who were married here, now come back and spend their anniversary. Since stopping the events and hosting so many guests, the mood has changed into one of peace and serenity in a chaotic and hectic world. Guests are enjoying yoga classes by the pond, smores by the firepit, picnics by the falls, and some just enjoy a nice rocking chair with a view. Willow Creek Falls Lodge hosts families, girl friends getaways, couples, pets and more. Our family looks forward to meeting yours. Don’t hesitate to come stay with us in our hometown!
